CLUB INFORMATION

Welcome to JKS Bradford

JKS Bradford is a non-profit organisation run by a team of volunteers. Started in 2002, we are the longest-established JKS club in the country. Our instructor, who is DBS (CRB) vetted, has been training for nearly forty years and attained his Dan grades (black belts) under top Japanese masters, including Kagawa Sensei.

The aims and objectives of the club are to foster, administer and advance the art of traditional Shotokan Karate. Our goal is to teach, motivate, educate and guide our students and instructors while promoting exemplary ethics in Karate-Do. We do this through regular training of the highest order, grading events, special courses, and competitions for both junior and senior grades.

All sessions take place at Heaton Tennis and Squash Club, usually in the studio but sometimes on a squash court.

Should you have any questions then please contact us.
